Can you enjoy the Galaxy S8 without a case?

Samsung has just launched two of the best-selling phones of 2017, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8 Plus. These are not only the most advanced mobile phones on the Android market, they are also the embarrassment of Samsung, the biggest competitor in Samsung's smartphone business. Now, the iPhone has looked the same for three consecutive years, and Samsung is iterating and improving its mobile phone every year to achieve leapfrog development. So even before the launch of the new S8 and S8 Plus phones, the iPhone looks a bit outdated. It is more than just design. Samsung even tried to make the S7 waterproof with a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Apple claimed that they had to give up the jack and make the iPhone 7 waterproof, which sounded like a Samsung design. To make matters worse, Samsung's new Galaxy flagship product even makes the iPhone's design look obsolete. The huge chin and forehead on the iPhone have never had the best screen-to-body ratio, and Samsung has been reducing the border on the phone as much as possible for the past few years.

The end result is that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have almost no larger enclosure than the screen itself. The incredible 18.5:9 ratio screen may take a little time to get used to and the app and operating system will have to be adjusted to take full advantage of all the extra real estate. Worse, however, the latest Galaxy phones make the iPhone 7 look dated and outdated, which is a huge insult to companies that recently sued Samsung for replicating its design language.

Is the screen too safe to use?

This brings us to the original question raised at the beginning of this article. Do the new Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have too many screens? When we say too many screens, we mean too much to use and carry in your hands and pockets. If you throw them away, you won't even be sure that you will destroy them. Also, if you do use one of the many Galaxy S8 cases or one of the seller's online S8 Plus covers available online, are you actually destroying the most important features? Although these phones have not even been listed around the world, there are already thousands of online designer cases for new phones.

In most countries, case manufacturers even allow people to create custom cases for Samsung phones that they can't even buy. Buyers of Samsung's latest flagship phone will have to decide for themselves whether they want to live on the edge or protect their very expensive new phones with protective covers.
