Five similarities between religion and spirit

When we were children, we were asked, first of all, chicken or eggs? If we answer us according to the creative story in the Bible, we will answer, chicken. But if we give an answer based on our experience in raising chickens, our answer is eggs.

The same is true for the answer to the question. First, religion or spirituality?

Religion is the first in terms of our experience in religious books and discussion. Until now, more and more people are talking about spirituality and writing. Spirituality first appears in terms of the origin of reality behind these words or the objects we understand. The spirit is there before any religion. God was there before someone worshipped him.

We can even say that spirituality is a branch of religion. For many centuries, people have embraced religion. Some of them strongly oppose their own religion. For centuries, Christians have opposed paganism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and any other religion. This also happens in paganism, Islam and other religious aspects. They also oppose other religions.

But more and more people find that pure religion can't answer their deeper incomes to get a better life experience. Therefore, they turned to something deeper and better than religion. They found this spiritually.

Because spirituality in a sense is a branch of religion, there must be some similarities between them, just like the similarities between eggs and chicken.

First, both believe in some higher power. from

 . Religion believes in the Father or Jesus, or Allah, or Brahman, or Tao. Spirituality also believes in God, or it can see God as universal or primitive energy. Both believe that this power is higher and higher than what we have.

Second, both religion and spirituality are hoping to have a relationship with this higher power. from

 . Although the nature of religious relations is religiously different from spirituality, the desire for such relationships is there. Religion is associated with a higher power of fear and trembling. Spirituality is associated with this higher power of love and affection.

Third, religion and spirituality have rituals and practices. from

 This deepens the piety or spirituality of man. Religion usually has a sacred ritual or sacrament. Spirituality has meditation or yoga classes.

Fourth, respect both the sacred and the worldly. from

  This is not just a respect for God. This is a respect for the reality beyond our senses and reason. When religion pushes this aspect to the extreme, it becomes superstition. When spirituality pushes this respect to the extreme, it becomes religious spirituality.

Fifth, both are afraid of failure from

 . In religion, this failure can be punishable by the fire of hell or repeated existence or other fear of fate. In terms of spirituality, this failure is the fate of real value or value and meaningless life. Hell, repeated existence, nonexistence, meaninglessness is a form of punishment for failure, whether in religion or spirituality.
