Global warming - survival and prosperity

Over time, the climate in the area may become hotter, cooler, drier or more humid. Natural selection will determine the organization that has the characteristics to adapt to the new climate. The small changes that continue to occur in hundreds of thousands of generations will eventually lead to a new species that can survive and thrive in climate change.

The success of an organism depends on its ability to breed mature young people to produce more young people. Only young people with the highest survival scores in any particular habitat will end. These surviving young people transfer their adaptive characteristics to future generations. This process is called natural selection.

If climate or environmental changes occur suddenly, some species may not adapt quickly and may become extinct. Recently, as the environment of human change has changed so rapidly that the extinction rate has risen ominously, this has become a big problem.

Birds and mammals are warm-blooded animals [endothermic]. This means they can maintain their body at a fairly constant warm temperature by treating body fats and carbohydrates. All other animal populations are referred to as body temperature because their body temperature depends on the temperature of their surroundings. The term cold blood is used to describe isotherms, but this is a bit of a misnomer, especially in hot, dry climates. For example, a "cold-blooded" lizard that basks in the hot midday sun can easily raise its body temperature to above 100 degrees Fahrenheit and give it warm blood.

In a warm climate, organizations need to calm down. Animals' strategies include summer [by entering the ground, or entering the water], or sweating and gasping to induce a decrease in evaporation temperature. Plants must adapt to heat and drought by using leaves to minimize heat stress and water loss.

In cold climates, some endothermic animals continue to be active at night and winter, but continue to eat to keep their core temperature stable. Some other methods of endothermic use include minimizing heat loss from insulating materials in the body [such as fat, feathers or hair], or avoiding unfavorable temperatures by migrating to a cooler environment or drilling holes in the ground, or by hibernation. Lower body temperature.

However, even those who often adapt to our own conditions are susceptible to rapid climate change. The Icelandic Vikings settled on the southwest coast of Greenland in the 10th century and died in the past 500 years due to the grip of the Little Ice Age. This is a period of cooling after a warm period, known as the medieval warm period. The Little Ice Age brought a cold winter to the Northern Hemisphere, and the Greenland Vikings colonies only because they could not grow enough food there to feed themselves. They arrived in Greenland in a more favorable climate era.

Therefore, both the endothermic and the life of life have a way of life. Although our current global warming trend is a serious and worrying factor, the earth has already seen it all. I believe that life will last.
