I may explain this, but it is undeniable that nature is no longer a very healthy fact. As a species, we contribute to this reality by not understanding the consequences of our actions. We don't think so. Because of ignorance, we almost irreparably destroyed the environment. We no longer have a world with a healthy ecosystem.
There are too many factors that cause damage to our fragile environment and cannot be mentioned. A few include pollution from industry, exhaust from motor vehicles, excessive use of natural resources, loss of native vegetation and lack of recycling. We read about climate change. Sea level rise and global temperatures rise. The cultivated land has become a desert. The peasants lost their livelihood. People can't eat. Independence has become a reliance on aid agencies and charities.
Global charities can only do a lot to alleviate human suffering. There has never been enough financial resources to help them improve their operations. Rich countries provide a certain level of assistance, but tend to spend more on industrial and infrastructure development. Weapons development and sales far exceed government contracts. It saw that everything was gone. However, if the individual and the community as a whole decide to create positive action, there is a solution
I am currently a resident of a small district called Villa Park in Davao City, Philippines. One might think of a veritable tropical paradise. But in fact, it's not. No matter where I go, I will see the rubbish thrown on the ground by people who are just lack of action. Plastic packaging for cigarette butts, plastic bottles, plastic shopping bags and snack foods. This is not an amazing sight. This is pollution. This should not be a reality. I often feel frustrated with this issue and often want to know what I can do to try to create positive changes.
Just when I started thinking that my thoughts didn't work, something happened. I talked to my neighbor a few days ago and he told me that local people in my suburbs want to do something to help their local environment. So far, some people have started a recycling process to reduce waste and generate revenue by selling glass, plastic and scrap metal. Me: Empty food and beverage cans. We have seriously discussed the need for people to start composting by using vegetable waste and lawn cutting. Through education, families can create a front yard fruit and vegetable garden. This can save money. This will provide a healthier diet. This will be an example of how people can make positive changes for their environmental interests.
Focusing on the environment is something that locals must learn through local school education and community meetings. People will have to learn to separate biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. Every week, the public must place empty plastic bottles and metal cans together with waste paper/cardboard in a designated container that will be located at one end of the community garden. The compost pile will also be there. This will help to grow vegetables. This will reduce the amount of money people need to buy food. The money earned by selling glass and metal will help expand the project: while enhancing the value of recycling.
About the use of compost: This reduces the need for chemical fertilizers to grow crops. This envisioned public garden will be a green and healthy mini ecosystem. This will provide a physical example of how to improve and recover the environment. There is no need to wait for others to provide a solution. People can work together now; not other future appointments.
As a social initiative, this will enable people to communicate and cooperate with each other to a higher degree. People in this division living in extreme poverty will be able to share what is going on. This will help create a healthy diet for yourself and your family. They will learn how to grow their own vegetables. This is self-empowerment. This is a social change.
People must also know that littering on the ground is unhealthy and unsightly. They must realize that littering is a direct relationship to environmental degradation. Government officials must be pushed to place bins in more areas. This will at least help encourage individuals to handle their personal waste in the right way. It is worth noting that the law mandates the recycling and proper disposal of garbage and garbage in Davao City. However, at the moment I have not seen many people who do comply with this decision: there is a risk of regulatory and financial penalties.
There is still a lot of work to do, so protect and protect the environment. This article describes a small project proposed by an ordinary person. I hope to create positive change by making their place a healthier place. When promoting this community project through the media and public meetings, other communities in the Philippine nation-state may be inspired to do the same. However, this need to protect and restore the Earth's environment is a global issue. Can humanity face and overcome this challenge? We no longer have extravagant time.
