Inner door: preparing for the winter

As winter approaches, the days will get colder and colder, so you may take steps to keep your family warm. The blanket is unpacked, the jersey and jacket are not stored, and the heater is ready for use. Along these winter warmers, it's also a good idea to check if your home contains heat.

If you don't have these items when you are preparing for the winter, you may want to consider insulation at home.

  • Insulation - Roof insulation is readily available. It is a soft, thick sponge-like substance that is laid on the inside of the ceiling. This layer of insulation will contain the heat from the home. If you recall your school science day, you will remember that the hot air is rising. This hot air usually passes through the ceiling and roof. It also gets the upper hand through the cold air that enters the house through the roof and ceiling. It has the dual function of keeping the house warm.
  • Floor heating - this can only be used on certain floor surfaces, such as under tiled floors. However, if you decide to use this option, please contact your supplier. Floor heating can only be considered when you plan to renovate the floor. If you are retiring or laying a new floor, floor heating may be an option. This process must be completed before laying the tiles.
  • Minimize open space - If your room does not have a door, you may want to consider adding an inner door. If there is no door to a particular room and you turn on the heater, heat can easily escape through the open space. Consider installing an internal department in the room to accommodate heat when using the heater. You can choose from modern interior doors or standard options. It depends on you. If you are not sure what is best, please seek advice from the door supplier to guide you. It also saves energy because once warm, you can turn off the heater and keep the heat inside the room for a while.
These three ways allow you to keep heat at home and keep your family warm during the winter. When you're doing research, consider the energy-saving method so that you don't spend too much on heating costs this time.
