Jakars toys

The Australian company Jakas' toys are very popular as a collection on the Australian market.

They began production in 1954, and these earliest teddy bears were rare. All joints are removable, made of glass eyes and mohair. Kapok is used as a filling.

By the 1960s, synthetic fur and plastic joints and eyes were used. The price of toys has existed before the reduction, because these materials are cheaper than traditional materials.

The unique Jakas teddy bear, stretched arms and typical embroidered face were launched in the 1960s. They didn't dislocate, they did bend over so they could sit down. A variety of toys have also been made, all of which have typical faces, including dogs, rabbits and poodles. Wheeled animals such as bears and horses were made in the size of the former and the walker. Teddies come in a variety of sizes, usually light brown, the most famous being the Big Ted. Pajamas are also very popular!

Like Joy Toys, Jakas is unable to compete with Asian toys that have been cheaper since the 1970s, although it does reduce quality and cost and tries to keep the business. In the 1990s, Jakas was forced to close.

The earliest mohair teddy bear can be sold for up to $1,000. However, synthetic shoes from the 1970s can be purchased for as little as $20.
