Creating podcasts is exciting and relaxing, just like many other podcasts. However, if you look around, most of these homemade Internet radio shows will disappear after a few episodes. Here are tips on how to maintain your podcast so you can get more listeners and higher advertising revenue opportunities.
Tip 1: Choose a topic that is narrow enough to make it interesting, but broad enough to grow into several episodes.
That's right, you can choose to talk about anything, but it will limit your listening. Imagine what would happen if only certain episodes attracted a few people? If only a few episodes are interesting, people will not subscribe to your podcast.
So choose a niche topic. For example, how to say Tagalog.
You can develop this niche theme into several subtopics. This way, you will have a lot of material for future episodes. For example, learn to speak Tagalog in the following situations: school, hotel, restaurant, movie, etc.
Tip 2: Ask the audience about the theme of the future episode.
In your podcast, provide a voicemail number and email address where your audience can send suggestions about future topics. They will be happy to have the opportunity to be heard and will come up with some ideas in the game. If you greet the audience by name and thank them for their suggestions, it will also make your podcasts more interesting.
Tip 3: Go out to interview people.
When you interact with others, you will experience new ideas. Get their consent before recording the interview.
As an added bonus, your podcasts will provide a variety of listening experiences, as the ambient sound of the interview venue will help bring color to your podcast: the hustle and bustle of the coffee shop, the carnival music in the background, the bus The rumble of the interview was conducted near the bus station.
You can also create this effect on your body as you bring a richer feel to your podcast. Then, you will rejuvenate and be inspired to continue creating more episodes as new places and newcomers will inspire your creative juices.
So leave the sterile computer room, meet up with friends, and get inspiration. If you do all of this, your podcast will not only grow, but will continue to air.
