Science - Does it invalidate religion?

The idea that science has replaced religion has recently become popular. Some people put religion aside, just like now. It is noted that the tremendous development of human brain work research seems to support this view.

New imaging technologies allow science to measure blood flow and neural activity as people meditate and pray. Science claims that it can predict and measure religious experiences in this way. Atheists like Richard Dawkins say that this proves that religious experience is nothing more than the natural activity of certain parts of the brain. From this they conclude that there is no supernatural reality.

What did science discover?
from

It has been found that a strong or mysterious experience is associated with coordinated activities in certain areas of the brain and other parts of the lack of activity. For example, meditation Buddhist monks and praying Catholic nuns have shown reduced parietal activity. This is a brain area responsible for spatial positioning. They also showed an increase in frontal lobe activity. This is a brain area that is responsible for concentration. A similar pattern of brain activity is observed in singing, meditation, and prayer, regardless of the specific spiritual beliefs of the person being studied.

Alternative explanation
from

There is another explanation. Just because religious experiences are accompanied by predictable brain activity, why does this mean that they are caused by it? When two things are together, any one of them will affect the other. Or, some third factor affects both.

One cannot expect the spiritual factors that scientific research may involve. Quite the right researchers rely on the use of natural tools to measure phenomena. Scientific practice methodology naturalism. This is a strategy for studying the world, and scientists choose not to consider supernatural causes - even a distant possibility. Therefore, science does not inspire any unnatural causes it has studied.

Drug-induced religious experience
from

Those who are skeptical about religion say that if psychedelic drugs can produce mystical and religious experiences, then religion is due to brain chemistry rather than God. Users of these substances report that they have an extraordinary spiritual experience.

These drugs produce a large number of concepts that are usually very feasible. This experience depends on several factors, including the type of individual's mental orientation, the expectations of the social environment, and the specific medications and dosages. Since the early 1960s, researchers have shown that for many people, these chemicals have induced a positive mystery and religious state of benignity and happiness. However, some people are suffering from the loneliness, despair, guilt and fantasy of the dark forces.

When we are in a state of change of consciousness, something releases the attachment to the external material world and its rational consciousness. I suggest that we will be more aware of a generally hidden spiritual inner world. I want to say that this inner world contains both the existence of eternality and unity, as well as the existence of dark forces. As a result, these drugs expose a full understanding of this inner world, which is unobservable in our body.

In my way of thinking, we made a huge mistake, thinking that simply swallowing the pill can produce the same results as years of mental discipline and growth. It is also wrong to assume that religious experience is nothing but a brain of a certain chemical state.

Science and religion
from

So do you think science will invalidate religion? Or do you think that, as I have done, when there are excuses that only science has truth, they have no scientific argument at all. In fact, I would say that they have transcended the category of science and entered the words of meaning and purpose.

It is good for us to have factual knowledge. Without it we cannot build a rational understanding of ordinary things. Science offers many opportunities to find and find God and to reflect on faith.

Hinduism has historically stimulated rationality and empiricism, arguing that science brings about legal but incomplete knowledge of the world. Most Buddhists today believe that science is a complement to their beliefs.

According to the Emanuel Swedenborg Christian philosopher, the danger comes when we see things only in nature. We also need to use the light of the spirit that we can use. In other words, secular and physically and mentally guilty have made a mistake, imagining that a person can use sensory evidence alone to see what is really important in his life.

I prefer the views of the sons of the founders of Baha's religion. He said that religion without science is superstition, and science without religion is materialism.
