The development of e-commerce websites

E-commerce or e-commerce is the use of computer networks for transactions of products or services. B2C and B2B are common symbols for business-to-consumer and business-to-business e-commerce, and use technologies such as mobile commerce, online marketing, and online transaction processing.

Today, almost everything in the world is sold over the Internet, making e-commerce and designing websites more important than ever.

E-commerce sites are just as good as virtual stores. Just as we walk into a store, the general atmosphere should appeal to us when we do business. There is always someone who likes and dislikes, but the overall look of the site should be harmless and enticing.

According to records, in 1984, Gateshead SIS / Tesco was the first B2C online shopping system and Ms. Snowball, the first online shopper at the age of 72. In 2015, Amazon stood on the world's largest e-commerce site, accounting for more than half of e-commerce growth.

Good e-commerce site guide:

If you are selling a product, you only need one or a few pages at most. How many pages exist between the home page and the final checkout is an important consideration. If there are multiple products, multiple pages will be given.

Design - If it is already an established product, some design concepts are in place and must be strictly adhered to. Match the image you provide to the feel of the site. They should not have a conflict.

Three points of a good e-commerce website

Trustworthiness, simplicity/ease of use and transparency [contact information, merchant policies, posting comments and answering negative comments]

Good e-commerce sites follow some best practices

Use good images and lots of images - from all angles and scalable photos.

Characterized by the scarcity of the product... only about 2 left & #39;. Many people buy so they don't want to miss something that others seem to have purchased!

Functionally related products.

What are the disadvantages of a bad e-commerce site?

  • Lack of clear value proposition, it is difficult to convey what they must sell
  • Product description is not enough
  • No high quality photos
  • No visual hierarchy - these visual elements must be given the importance of action,
  • It doesn't look trustworthy - it doesn't inspire the confidence of the audience. This is especially true for health-related websites where design is considered to have greater impact than the content itself! Lack of good customer referrals and favorable news arguments and the lack of any interesting information about the site is a shortcoming of a bad e-commerce site
  • Try the relationship of new ideas in web design

How did you build a website?

Using a drag-and-drop website build tool is a good idea for beginners, not close to a developer, where there are technical issues and huge costs. Other routes use WordPress, an advanced suite for building websites. The custom website is designed to build a unique website for you by reaching out to a professional web designer/design company. The latter two are quite expensive. From hundreds to thousands of dollars.
