This is called procrastination. This is the act of postponing substantive tasks and focusing on less important, easy and enjoyable tasks. You continue to postpone the task to the "last minute." Procrastination is a habit that, to a certain extent, has had a negative impact on many people. Procrastination is actually painful and shameful.

The problem is that you are procrastinating.

Procrastination is a habit that can be your ferocious enemy. It brings only stress, disappointment and anxiety. Although we were told that the delay is bad - it makes us look lazy, unreliable and unprofessional, but it also benefits. Some people postpone work because they like to go to work when working under pressure. There are actually some positive factors in the delay.

The positive aspects of procrastination include:

  • It gives individuals time to solve disturbing problems and innovate more ideas. You will have time to pay your bills, attend meetings, participate in other projects, and then you will have plenty of time to do what you should. It is undeniable that there are indeed inevitable situations in which individuals need to adopt procrastination.
  • It brings creativity. When you are given a task that looks so difficult, procrastination will give you a better solution. You can come up with a better, more friendly idea of handling tasks because you can save enough time to think about it.
  • It can lead to better decisions. Procrastination gives individuals time to think and gather more information to get better choices.
  • If you delay, unnecessary work may be cancelled. If a task is given, then you will be delayed, and those that are not important may disappear when important work comes in.
  • Procrastination makes a job faster because there is less time to complete the task. This task you don't like will stay in your life for a short time, just like you did for a while.
However, as time goes by, procrastination will begin to become a habit in your life. You have no choice but to stop it. If you don't stop it, it will destroy you. There are many disadvantages to delay, including:

  1. Destroying your career delays will prevent you from exceeding your deadlines and achieving your stated goals. This can have serious consequences for your career, as you may miss promotion or even lose your job.
  2. Damage your reputation - what you promise to do. You don't do this. This will tarnish your image because no one likes the promise of vagueness. That side - you will also stifle your confidence and self-esteem, because if you delay it, it will no longer be your new thing. People won't believe you and won't give you a chance because they worry that you will let them down.
  3. Risking your health - when you delay, you won't relax. You will feel stress, anger and frustration. This will lead to health problems.
  4. Unable to achieve goals - People set goals because they want to achieve them and sometimes change their lives. If your goals are delayed and distracted, you will also distract your future life.
