cyber security

With the growth and adoption of Web 2.0 technologies, these platforms are capable of publishing user-generated content, creating another dimension of human existence called cyberspace. In cyberspace, people interact as if they were in physical space. They socialize, conduct business, research, share and store materials, and even commission high-value assets [in terms of information] for easy access, availability and secure preservation.

Network security is critical to managing the behavior and manner of interaction with computer systems and other users in cybersecurity. Insecure, e-commerce, worry-free social networking, business networks and other activities are impossible, so there are obstacles in this mobile and information age.

Network Security and Computer / Information / Network Security: -

Although these terms are sometimes used interchangeably, they do differ. Computer security, network security, and information security are only intended to protect computer system components and the data/information created, stored, or transmitted on or through the system. Cybersecurity goes a step further to address the possibility that users may become victims of cybercrime. There are crimes such as intellectual property infringement, where system components are not victims, they are simply media for mitigating crime, and rights owners are victims.

Network security from a legal perspective: -

Different countries have different laws to enforce cybersecurity. In the case of the United Republic of Tanzania, the Cybercrime Act 2015 provides for the conduct and responsibility of all parties in the cyberspace. For all the examples given above and more, the law clearly states what to do. It also provides legal guidance on how users interact in cyberspace, taking advantage of the responsibilities of devices and systems and any interactions of all parties involved in cyberspace.

Network and healthcare industry: -

For many years, the healthcare industry has been the top five industry for cybercriminal attacks. The WannaCry ransomware attack that took place earlier this year affected many health trusts in England and Scotland, and welcomed the impact of cyber threats on media and political debates before the 2017 election. So why do some people want to attack health care and what are the threats?
