Product Creation - 4 Steps to Conceptualize Products

Creating your own products can help you grow your own business. However, you need to first determine which product to produce. Here are 4 steps to guide you.

1. Understand your target audience: You must always keep in mind your target audience. Ask yourself if you are developing products for young people or adults, men or women, businessmen or professionals. Different people have different needs, opinions and choices. Therefore, when you think about products for them, you must first understand them. You may want to consider which part of the country in which they live, because the culture and traditions of the different parts are very different. Then you must also understand their behavior, how they make purchase decisions, the people they consult, and the factors that affect them.

2. Identify revenue: The next step is to determine the benefits you want your product to reach your target audience. For example, you might want to provide information about how to lose weight in a 40-year-old woman. Or you may want to help young people build an entrepreneurial home business. Or you want to give young children the inspiration to grow. You must determine the benefits you want to provide. It depends on your interests and enthusiasm and your preferences for a particular topic.

3. Select the format: Now you need to determine the format of the development product. This can be a choice between an e-book, a video, a podcast or a software program. You can choose any digital media as the format of the product. Which one is right for you? It depends on your previous understanding of the target audience. If you want to develop a weight loss guide for women, it's best to make a video that demonstrates the actual exercise. If you want to provide information about your marketing plan, you can choose to write an e-book. If you want to say something inspiring, use an MP3 podcast.

4. Determine the style: Finally, you need to determine the presentation style. You can choose to use humor or theoretical style. Again, it depends on your target audience and the benefits you provide. If you offer a marketing plan product, then you won't be humorous. It must be a serious cause. Some styles are suitable for certain products and some benefits.

Develop your product in the 4 steps above and provide it to your target audience for profit.
