Career addition and job search - first mistake

For those with professional ADD, job hunting can be a daunting task. Not only does it drive all or most of our anxiety buttons, but we'll soon be paralyzed and then take productive and positive actions to interview or connect us to the right company or potentially great work. So where do you start?

By making most of this article, I will make these people easier with Career ADD. It turns out that when we get smaller blocks of information, our ADDers tend to pay more attention. So here:

• The biggest mistake that professional ADD makes for these people is the lack of attention to the career or career we really want. What kind of impression do you imagine when we sit in front of someone who might change our work life and we can't clearly express what we really want at work?

• My professional clients are unable to express their ideal job or work situation, and eventually someone will tell them to understand or "do more research" first. This is a good saying, "If you don't know what you want, I will help you."

• Understand your needs and articulate them to stay ahead of your competitors. why? Because the job seekers who do this are more confident and enthusiastic, they have to let go.

• Understand your needs and reasons.

• This is an example. "When I [at least 20% of my time using _______ skills, I work most efficiently; I work in a room with the least noise, or I can wear headphones when I need it, I can finish the project by the deadline, one can Answering calls, or working 30-40% of the team's work in a week, you can change the task every 10 minutes, etc.] This sounds like a wishful thinking, but in fact, knowing these factors makes you happy and rich The result means more room for negotiation, or it may not be appropriate to give the employer and you "head up". Find a way to make it a win-win situation.

• Know where you want to work [one or two] or the industry and stick to it.

• Using Bolles [what color is my parachute] The Flower Model is the perfect way to create dialogs that can be used in an interview session. Going through this process every day and even 10 minutes is likely to change your life and career forever. This year is the 40th anniversary of the book.

Through professional ADD, it is more important for someone to coach or coach through it. My last client has done 30 non-productive "information interviews" to get a position where she wrote her job description. In less than two months, she was frustrated to have the ability and confidence.
